Spooka Minooka!

These are all out of order but there are so many of them that I just kind of figured that's I'd explain as I go....

Riding on a bike together...

On our way to Spooka Minooka - Hayden as Lightening McQueen, Avery as a disastrous Pooh, Morgan as...well...hmmmmm????

In the barn - lots of fun activities for the kids!

At Spooka - there was a whole section around a fire where creepy ladies would tell "spooky stories" to the kids! Avery and Hayden were enthralled!!!!

Morgan, however, was more interested in the glow stick necklaces!

Avery liked them, too, but preferred the stories!

Avery is a Hoot!

Check this out - Avery is almost THREE and she still sleeps in her crib! And not for lack of trying to get her in a big girl bed on our part. We did that and she would regularly trash her room, closet, and drawers. A mess maker, she is! She's just flat out safer in the crib and I, frankly, have peace of mind. And since it's all about ME, well, that's just way too important a detail to overlook!

But here she is...first setting up all of her muts for take off! (One at a time she launches them into the stratosphere...)

But then she insists that you drag the princess table over to her crib. Then she gets her feet on the table. (please note that she has never, ever, climbed out of the crib on her own. I know...)

Then she hurls a leg over the side...

And the rest follows...

TA DAA!!!!

And then she's free to play with Morgan!!!

Keeping Busy...

I have to give them credit...the girls really know how to keep themselves busy! Whether it was last Tuesday when I decided to Tasmanian Devil style clean my house for four hours straight or today when I had a ton of essays to grade, those two little cherubs just busied themselves with play time and each other! Only an occasional argument or five, but truly, on the whole, some great times!

Here they are writing their names on a card for Mom-Mom's birthday. They were absolutely INTENT on making it look perfect - Morgan wrote her name a few times and Avery insisted on circles!

Morgan spent a long time getting this outfit right!

Hayden and Avery were entranced by The Lion King!

Deagan found a comfy place to sit.

Avery placed one kernel at a time into the boat...

The when were at Target, rather than run all over like crazy kids, they gave a repeat performance of the "BOO" game, hiding behind stuff!

And then today...as I was trying to grade a bunch of papers, I looked to my left and found Morgan drawing, quietly, in the piano room! All cuddled up on the chaise lounge!
