The Last Few Months Have Been Fun!

I swear, every day I think, "Geez, I really need to get those pictures on the blog soon!" And it should be such an easy process - plug phone into computer, import photos, pick the good ones, plop them on blog page.

The girls put on a cute show!

Avery singing with the hiccups

Morgan's Rodeo

Avery's Morning Quote - This one is pretty inappropriate, but oh so funny nonetheless!

Here are the girls watching TV in Avery's room...

Avery in a box...

Eating lunchables together...notice Morgan's disapproving glower.

Avery ready to go out and play!

Morgan, Snowflake, and Flower...

Okay so this one is ridiculous. Dan got a car something or other product in the mail, and of course it was surrounded by thousands of packing peanuts. Great. So we all know that the peanuts WILL NOT stay in the box, even if you throw away said box, because, well, the girls rescued it. I had no idea that they were doing this because I'm a really great mom who likes to ignore her children all day in favor of blogging or something meaningful, so when I heard the all-too-often-stated-and-feared phrase, "Mommy, look at us!", I kind of cringed.  Because I knew that no matter what was going on, it was BAD! So I saw this...and I took a deep breath, counted to 29, then said, "Okay, girls, this is interesting. Please make sure that you clean it up when you're done".
"Okay, Mommy".
Then, as I patted myself on the back for not completely losing my cookies, I heard, "Mom, can you turn on the air so it snows in here?"

WTF.

Snows?

Crap.

Double crap.

Um, yeah, they had taken the air register covers off and PACKED the open air registers with hundreds of peanuts!!!!! PACKED!!!!!!! Morgan figured that if I turned on the air then they'd all come flying out like snow!

At this point I really did lose my sanity, and I sent them to their rooms. Then began the arduous task of removing the peanuts. Little by little, sometimes one peanut at a time, I pulled those suckers out of there. And scraped my arm up in the process. Annoying!!!!!!! After 15 minutes, I again congratulated myself, this time on getting them all out, and just as I walked back into the kitchen I heard the air turn on....

Then....

WHOOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hundreds of stupid little peanuts came FLYING out of the OTHER register - the one that I neglected to notice was piled up even higher than the first! Fart!!!!!! Crap!!!!! Wait...the peanuts really are flying out like SNOW! I don't have to reach in and take them all out!

Then my face contorted a little bit...

Wait. I didn't have to reach in for 15 minutes and grab every stinking little peanut from the first register. I didn't have to completely lose my cookies because the kids are horrifically destructive. I didn't have to...well, do anything!

I could have just let them all fly out like the snow that Morgan had planned....she really is a little genius! Me? Not so much.

I have no idea what this is supposed to be, but it's cute.

This is Avery in her superhero costume/sanitation challenged attire. But if I were a bad guy I'd be a little scared.

Morgan did something to make her mad...

I forget what we were doing, but they were obviously pooped!

Avery pretending to be a cat...

Morgan watching TV on her horse, Cari.

A typical tantrum. It's just annoying when they're in public. Like here at the Dr's office.
And it wasn't even her getting the check up!

Again in superhero attire.

Morgan won a context at Sunday School and the prize was the googly eyes!

Avery is a shark. 'Nuf said.

TONS of beans in her shirt!
She called them her "eggs". Interesting.

Out for dinner for a girls night out!

Morgan made this at school!

CUTE!

Avery: "Mom, look! The bear doesn't have any arms or legs!"
Me: (stupidly) "Why, Avery?"
Avery: "Because the bad guy came and chopped them all off!" (with a big smile).

Avery with her Santa plate and anatomical parts designating gummies.

Yet another tantrum. I think the hat makes this one unique!

She was mad that I was taking her picture. Odd, because she's obsessed with pictures!

Morgan watched a rodeo on youtube then wanted to do one!

Jeez. Avery's baby mooned us. And she thought it was hysterical.

Karate!!!

Morgan and I went out for lunch together! Texas Roadhouse let her sit on their birthday saddle, which she loved!

We went to a friend's bday party today - a horseback riding party! Score!!!

SO CUTE!!!!
