Avery Take on Things...

Word up, homies! Avery Faye here! Morgan's been stealing the show long enough with all of her activities and hobbies that I have to do by default. I keep trying to get mom to take me to tai kwon do or UFC training, but that crazy lady still won't listen to me! All she keeps saying is, "Avery, take your mut out of your mouth to talk," and "yeah, sure, whatever!" When will that old bat get a clue?! Man! I thought I was pretty clear the other day when I was riding my bad ass tricycle and as she hollered, "Avery, stop right there and turn around!" I quizzically cocked my head to the side and said, "no...I'm going that way!" And I continued to pedal. Duh, right?! I was going THAT way! Apparently I was not clear because she came running after me in order to ask me again, so I just pedaled faster and laughed at her ignorance!

She didn't like that too much.

Gosh! It's not like I was biking to Alaska! It's the cul-de-sac for cryin' out loud! Not much happens on a cul-de-sac (hence why I want outta here!!!)

Anyway, other than my new quirky habits such as streaking around the neighborhood (I'm a runner!) and standing at the back sliding glass door and barking like a dog so mom knows to let me in, I think I'm doing pretty well these days! Here are some pics and thoughts on my life this week! (Okay, and a few about the camera hog, Morgan, too!)

Here's Morgan with three care bears who came in the mail - they sing together and harmonize! Actually very cute and I'm a little jealous because it's normally ME who gets the singing things!

And here I am in a rarely caught laugh (not because I don't laugh but because the camera always catches me at weird moments so my face looks all distorted!)

But there are so many reasons to laugh these days! Morgan, Mommy, Krysta, and I made a puppet show theater and some extremely sophisticated sock puppets...
Mommy had a big box left over from school so she taped it all up and we painted it (actually, THEY painted it and I messed up their glorious work!)
Then we stole a bunch of daddy's CLEAN socks and glued some crafty stuff to them! Like I said - VERY sophisticated!

Morgan's tiger!

The puppet theater! Notice all of the pretty pics (theirs) and all of the crazy dots (mine!!!)

And here's the best thing we found to do in awhile! It's this big indoor gymnastics thingy where there are trampolines and mats and ball pits! FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A blur of fun!

Whee! Here I am with Katie, mommy's friend Abby's daughter!

Morgan bouncing down the tramp ramp with a balloon!

So of course I had to do it, too!!!

And then we discovered the ball pit! Morgan LEAPED into it repeatedly, barely missing my fragile little self! (yeah, right!!!!)

And the rings! I swung all on my own, of course!

The nice lady who owns the place came over and played with us!

And even though I was supposed to crawl THROUGH the folded mat, I, of course, had other plans!

After all that excitement we were all sweaty and stinky, so we took a bath and had yet another blast! This is SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! We even washed and brushed each others' hair! Seriously! Mommy was floored, too!

And afterward we ran around in crazy circles wrapped in towels to dry off like our pets do!!!! What a fun time!!!

So don't think that Morgan has all of the fun around this place! LIke I said, I might be a bit crazy, naked,  and puppy-ish, but I sure am one happy kid!

Peace out, homies!!!

:)
