Girls and Their Dogs, Dresses, and Daydreams!

Doesn't she look so cute with little bug eyes!

She loves to sit all over Cooper, use Cooper as a footrest, a pillow, a huggy partner!

We went to TJ Maxx to get goggles. We left with goggles and two princess dresses, which as you can see, caused a lot of joy and dancing in the checkout lane! In fact, they put them on as soon as they found them, and as they were twirling in the dressing room, a lady came out and Avery exclaimed, "Oh my goodness! You look so Be-a-u-ti-ful!!!!!

The lady immediately melted and said, "Aw! Thanks! I needed that!"

Oh....and here are the goggles.

Morgan wore her princess dress for three days. Including to a local bouncy house/arcade place. Appropriate attire?! Of course!

Especially for air hockey!

Avery wore hers for two days.

After an afternoon at the beach...and no, it didn't last.

The girls in their new matching swim suits at the pool! Notice Avery standing directly UNDERNEATH the huge big spout.

A double rainbow the other day!

There was a baby bunny  in the egress window, and I had to jump in and get it in a bucket to release it. And wouldn't you know...a few hours later the darn thing was BACK! Really?

More pool stuff.

Water angels!

More rainbows

And Avery in her "tent!"

More out of order photos.

I WON!!!!!!

Making forts...

 And kids in goggles

Even Sydney likes the fort.

It's been a fun few days!

Special Moments and Quote of the Day

Morgan carefully tucked each and every blanket into the sofa cushions!  She was VERY proud of this!

Avery was very proud of this, too. I don't know what it is other than some cockamamie contraption designed to choke herself.

Oh....and seriously, the funniest quote of the day....

HA!

Nature "Walk"

On a hot afternoon with nothing much else to do, we decided to go on a "nature walk". We made little paper bags to collect our findings in, and the girls each had a stroller to push to help them find pretty nature things!

We walked out to the water tower, and on the way didn't find much to collect other than dandelions - but of course those are pretty in the girls' eyes! They did enjoy the water tower, though!

But the WALK wasn't really a walk. It was a "wait for Avery". You'd think that kid would go super fast, but NO. Everything was "oh my goodness  look at this!" and "WOW! Mommy look at that flower!" or "Ahhhhhhh! A bee! Shoo, bee!" So we didn't go very far very fast. Even Morgan got fed up waiting.

Please note the older of the two sitting at the end of the street, waiting....

Avery looks like she's running, but trust me, it was only three or four steps! Then something bright and shiny caught her attention again!

And Morgan waits again....

Don't forget, it was a hot day. And this child chooses to wear a sweater dress.

BRIGHT AND SHINY!!!!!!

The Girls Play Dress Up at a Local Fun Place

What else would we do on a boring afternoon?! Dress as a shark and chase some bubbles!!!!

And now for a performance...

What does a shark do after it crosses the bridge and face plants?

 Plays in beans, of course!
