A Nice Day!

We had so much fun today! First we went to McD's with a playground, but a different one than usual - this one had more things for Avery to play on, so we were there for over an hour and a half! Lots of fun!  On the way there we were delayed by a family of geese crossing the street...

Then off to a rummage sale (my student volunteer, Hailey, is moving) and we hung out with her for awhile. She showed Morgan and Avery her little dwarf hamsters - Riley and Stumpy! And boy were they super docile and sweet! Morgan and Avery got a bunch of little stuffed animals and and toys, too! Then we were off to a local soccer place for kids - Morgan wants to play soccer this summer! Awesome! So we went and checked it out. It's an indoor facility and it looks like lots of fun, so Morgan and I decided that after naps we'd go get a new soccer ball and special soccer shoes!

Naps..........

4:00 pm - Morgan wakes up and the first thing she wants to do is go get her soccer shoes! So after a few funny moments at home:

And after a long time searching and searching at various sports stores, we finally wound up at Target (should have gone there first), and we found some cute Converse with a zebra theme! Now, I know they aren't real soccer shoes, but she thinks they are, and we even raced tonight to the bedroom to see how fast she is now that she has special shoes. She won!!!!!
