Funny Girls

Oh boy, they are weird! What goof balls!

Avery LOVES to put on make-up! I'm lucky if I can keep it to a minimum, let alone something that I can clean up! Thank goodness for make-up remover because this time she totally got her eyebrow (honestly, I'm impressed that she got her eyebrow right!) and she needed five or six remover pads to get most of it off. There lingered a few stubborn black spots!

Then they felt the need to get in the laundry basket and make me push them around, which is awesome and fun for them, but super exhausting for me!!!
But here they are in the kitchen. The only way for me to get them to look at me is for me to ask them "Where's Mommy's hair?" or "Where's Mommy's glasses?!" Then they point or touch their own hair, as you'll see below!

On Tuesday we took Morgan to the dentist for her second cavity filling. Here are the girls waiting...

Morgan did really well! However, since it was her bottom two left teeth that got filled, her tongue was kind of numb. So we went to McDs and got ice cream, but she wanted a burger, too. I didn't think much of it! So we got our food and went to the gas station next door and not two seconds later did I hear, "Mommy, I'm bleeding." I figured it was just her sensitive teeth, but I turned around to find her completely covered in blood!!!! Gushing from her mouth!!!! She shoved napkins in there and looked liked she had a big poofy marshmallow sticking out of it! Poor thing! It wouldn't stop bleeding. Honestly, it got to the point, after 90 minutes, when I was ready to take her to the ER. Turns out it wasn't her teeth. It was her TONGUE! She bit right through it in two deep places because it was numb! EWWWWWW!!!! Even now, a few days later, it still looks pretty gross, but luckily the tongue is a pretty fast healing place so it isn't that bad!

Here is Avery pretending that we can't see her if she puts something in front of her face!

BOO!!!!!

I'm so cool!

And Avery being Avery...kind of Alien-esque

With plastic on her head. Yes, I know that I'm not winning parent of the year anytime soon, but this was really funny! She came down the stairs making some horrendous "AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" noise, and this is what we saw. Like a little alien!

Weirdo. If you knew her as well as I do you'd agree and not just think that I was being mean. Wait until you see the pic my mom took of her as she wore some knee pads and did squats!

But at the end of the day, as always, here's what happens...

Sweet dreams!
